Taree Local Steps Up For Yellow Pages NSW Project

Kiah was instrumental to the success of the 2016-17 Yellow Pages NSW Project

Kiah Taylor is a NSW North Coast local who has been involved in Yellow Pages distribution for the past few years. She delivered most recently in Taree as a co-ordinator for the 2016-17 Yellow Pages Project, as well as previously in locations such as Tuncurry, Uralla and Armidale. Simply put, Kiah is an experienced distribution guru.

Kiah is currently working as a nurse while studying a Degree in Paramedics, and the funds she has raised from her distribution efforts are going towards paying off her studies and textbooks.

For the 2016-17 Yellow Pages NSW Project, Kiah stepped up as a co-ordinator for Taree and the surrounding area, taking charge of eight delivery teams.

“I loved delivering, however, I really loved being the coordinator,” said Kiah. “In both roles there was the opportunity to meet many people and to learn new things.”

“It is a great experience, I developed my communication skills and had a really good time.”

Kiah’s highlight of the experience was the chance for her to meet new people and engage with her local communities.

“It was great to spend time with the delivery teams and the warehouse crew, and the people in the community are really lovely. It’s great to be able to have a chat to them, and they are so appreciative of the service. With a door-to-door job like this, it was really easily to socialize while working.”
